A Helpful Conversation Caught on Camera

A couple of years ago, a buyer-client-tita of mine — a mortgage broker and owner of Maverick Finance based in Australia — invited me to share insights about preselling developments in the Philippines. She wanted to create something useful for fellow Filipinos abroad who were thinking about investing in Philippine property from abroad.

I recently stumbled on the YouTube video again titled “Buying a Property in the Philippines.” It wasn’t a content project, and I didn’t make episodes after that. 😅

It was just a conversation recorded in a few parts, with one clear purpose:

To help.

Watching it now, I appreciated how straightforward it was — just information explained clearly, the same way I talk to clients during conversations about buying property in the Philippines.

Na-appreciate ko naman yung mga sinabi ko kasi informative.
Maayos din pala. HAHAHAHA.

And in a way, it reminded me of something important about credibility in real estate.

That interview happened not because I planned to be on camera — but because Tita Rara trusted me enough to learn from me, especially when guiding clients like OFWs buying property in the Philippines, and believed the information was worth sharing with others.

For me, that says more than views ever could.

Over the years, I’ve realized that the best professional moments often grow from genuine relationships. When clients feel comfortable asking questions, having conversations, and seeking guidance beyond the transaction itself.

Real estate is a serious investment.
But the process becomes lighter when there is trust.

And for me, trust is built in ordinary conversations — the kind where people feel heard, not sold to — while helping them make informed property investment decisions that match their goals.

So I’m grateful for that recorded conversation.
And I’m grateful I chanced upon it again while searching for something else. Hehe.

It captured a simple but meaningful part of my work: helping people make informed decisions, wherever they may be in the world.

And that’s what this space is really about.

Sharing what I’ve learned —
in life,
in real estate,
and in between.
