Heritage Park: The Story Behind Our Lawn Lots

In my previous post, I mentioned that I will be sharing in-depth stories about each property I mentioned there.

This one is for the Heritage Park lawn lots we got.

“Kumuha na kayo kasi kumuha na din ako,” sabi ng mommy ko. HAHAHA.

We got, not one, but two lawn lots!

Bakit dalawa?
HAHAHA.

Buti na lang talaga I obeyed my mother (as always 😂).

We got them at ₱60,000 EACH, installment pa.
And now? Around ₱450,000 per lot na!
(May installment pa rin naman hehe)
But… x8 na ngayon!

Just like any other property here in the Philippines, tumataas talaga ang value. kung alam ko lang, sana dinagdagan pa namin, pwede ko benta ng mga 300k, x5 pa din diba hehe.

It was a practical life decision — well, practical life decision ng nanay ko, not mine. 😂

Kasi everyone knows they should have this,
but no one really wants to talk about it.
Or like me, maybe not everyone knows na pwede naman pala paghandaan ito.

A few years after we bought the lots, we were invited to be accredited to sell.

The first time I offered Heritage Park to a client, she purchased 3 estate lots
para pwede mag-build ng mausoleum with toilet at may 2nd floor pa.

Sabi niya:
“I want my family and visitors to be comfortable when they visit, so they can stay longer.”
Which makes so much sense.

Another client needed to transfer their dad from another memorial park to Heritage.
After everything was arranged, they told me:
“Mas comfortable kami visiting Dad here.”

tama nga hehe.

And like my client, na-imagine ko rin yung future visitors namin. HAHAHA.
At least makakapag-picnic sila sa lawn —
wala lang silang sariling toilet hehehe.

But that was also when I realized:
mas maganda kapag handa, para hindi na problemahin ng maiiwan nating family.

and madami naman palang choices.

because ang laki talaga ng gagastusin, especially if biglaan.

Aside pala from the lot that we will choose, separate payment pa pala kasi for:

  • wake or cremation services (starting from pagkuha ng body — the first point of contact)

  • and separate pa yung interment or hukay service, kung saan ipepwesto yung casket or urn sa lupa
    (with tents, chairs, etc.).

We didn’t get the full cremation or wake package yet. Aside from the 2 lawn lots, we got the interment package for second depth.

And I learned something new:

  • Per lawn, 2 caskets can be buried.

  • And even if lawn lot lang, pwede pala ang urns.

  • Up to 8 urns per lot kung cremated. Pwede din 4 urns, 1 casket. pwede ata pala mix and match

I remember my friend when his mom passed away.
Sabi niya during the wake: “Ang galing ni Mama, inayos na niya lahat — miski catering for the whole 4 days. Iyak na lang ginawa namin.”

Di ko pa gets noon kasi that was before we even got our own lawn lots.

One of my long-time clients, who purchased several preselling properties from me, also got 1 lot at Heritage.
Sabi niya sa akin:
“Ang galing ni Myra — from start to end eh!”

Natawa kami, pero kinilig ako hehe.

Di ko pa naisip yung catering for the whole 4 days. And kung may 4 days wake then cremation or cremated na ba during the wake.

And wala pa daw si mommy nyan.
Ako na daw bahala dun!

Which reminds me…
I should get one soon kasi tumataas din ang price and transferrable naman hehe
