Hi, I’m Myra Miranda — real estate broker, business owner, friend, wife and mom of two amazing boys.

My name, Myra Joy, means wonderful and happy — and I like to believe I live up to it by leading with warmth and purpose in all that I do.

This website is my little corner of the internet: a space for reflection, storytelling, and connection.

Life.

Life for me isn’t about awards or achievements—it’s about connection, curiosity, and meaningful experiences. Whether I’m traveling with my family, attending drag shows (yes, Precious Paula Nicole and Divine Divas are my favorites 😄), or sharing small moments at home, I try to embrace each one fully.

At my core, I’m a connector—of people, purpose, and possibility. I believe every space has a story, every meeting has meaning, and every step we take is part of something bigger. I don’t push; I plant seeds—showing up with quiet confidence, staying grounded, and trusting that everything unfolds as it should.

Through all the seasons of work and life, my greatest joy is still being with my family.

I’m married to Allen, my biggest supporter and partner in every way. He shows up for me and our kids—even being with me at drag shows (because yes—happy wife, happy life! 🩷).

We have two sons—Mateo and Marko. They’re the reason I work hard and love harder. They remind me why homes matter.  They help me remember the “why” behind what I do.

I was inspired to start this website and blog by my family. My dad started painting again during pandemic and began telling the stories behind each piece—he’s now on Volume 2 and even runs his own YouTube channel where he shoots, edits, and uploads all on his own at (46) Ming Sigaya – YouTube. My youngest brother, who splits his time between being a pilot and a real estate agent, has also started vlogging at Facebook. Seeing them share their stories and passions motivated me to do the same here—to capture experiences, reflections, and small lessons from life, work, and everything in between.

This year marks 20 years in real estate—a journey that began in 2005, fresh out of DLSU with a BS in Math and a Computer Science specialization. Originally, I wanted to experience working abroad, but I decided to join Community Innovations (now Alveo Land), an Ayala Land company and one of the top developers in the Philippines.

I started by handing out flyers in malls, waking up at 3AM to do flyer inserts in newspapers, and following a simple point system my team leader taught me. That grind planted a foundation of structure, discipline, and quiet consistency—a compass I still rely on today.

And the results? One sale after two weeks, six sales in six months… and the rest is history.

In the beginning, I chased personal awards and incentives (free trip to Madrid for being number 1 overall back in 2008 😅). But a career break in Singapore in 2010 shifted my perspective. It’s not about me anymore—it’s about serving others. Now, clients find me, referrals grow, and the magic happens when focus is on connection, not numbers.

Real estate for me is not anymore just about closing deals; it’s about helping families find spaces where their lives can truly unfold. It’s about guiding investors toward their dreams, mentoring new associates at askME, and supporting meaningful projects.

Travel has been a huge part of this journey. From leading international roadshows to going to Singapore 13 times in 1 year, to  visiting nine countries last year —- every conversation anywhere in the world reminds me that real estate is personal everywhere—people everywhere share the same desire: to feel at home.

Real

Estate.

Wet Grass.

A few years ago, I co-founded Miss Martha, a cleaning company built to make move-ins, turnovers, and lived-in homes feel easier, cleaner, and more joyful. Whether it’s a one-bedroom condo or a three-story home, we clean with care and intention.

Our signature scent—Wet Grass—inspired the name of this blog. It smells like a fresh start.

Miss Martha is also my outlet for creativity – i enjoy when designing and curating  candles, room sprays, tote bags, calendars, social media posts.

PLus i love it when we have new trainees because they get to train in my house and at the same time they get to clean my house for free hehe.

Why I’m Writing
This Blog

This blog is my space to share:

  • Lessons from 20 years in real estate and growing businesses like Miss Martha and askME
  • Insights from travel, culture, and curiosity
  • Parenting, partnership, and those in-between moments that make life rich
  • Stories of choosing connection over perfection, service over sales

Even if no one reads it, I hope to help one person at a time, one story at a time.

Welcome again to Life, Real Estate, and Wet Grass—my little corner of the internet.
— Myra 💛
